A foreigner has been involved in a car crash with 2 famous Thai Youtube stars in the early hours of yesterday morning in the Bang Lamung district of Chon Buri. But these weren’t just any Youtube stars, they’re ex-convicts. The ex-convict-urned-YouTube-star Panuwat Sirichai or ‘Meng Pakdam’ is reported by Thai media to have been the leader of a drug trafficking gang called Pakdam. The other ex-convict-turned-YouTube-star, Tada Boonphan or ‘Est Romklao’, was reported to have killed people. Both have been in and out of jail several times. Totally the kind of people you would want to crash your car into. […]

And the relevance of nationality is what exactly? Can someone kindly explain to Tara that this is 2022 or 2565 if she prefers!

Looks like Tara was quoting the source “The Pattaya News” and no nationalities were named.

Well I do wish it stops, whatever the source material. It just adds fuel to this ongoing, boring and harmful divide. Maybe foreigners could be referred to as “New Thais” as is the case in some Western countries 😉😉

Yee Hoi Wong. Probably one of those "New Scots" I keep reading about.

Oh no wait. Thats not actually a thing at all. I'm thinking Chinese national. But of course we cant say that. Emperor Xi would be most upset if one of his citizens had been quietly waiting at the traffic lights when ex convicts (why mention that?) suddenly reversed into his car.

As for the refusal to take an alcohol test well thats just normal. How dare anyone question a Chinese national and cause him to lose face.
