A 5 year old boy. This “person” will get a death sentence for sure even after he pleads guilty. I’d prefer he got a “never to be released” sentence but I think that is not an available sentencing option under Thai law. Even 3 x non concurrent death sentences means this “person” will be released one day and it won’t be in a body bag.

There seems to be an increase in violent crime being reported over the last few weeks.

Revenge stabbings & shootings.

Is this normal and just being reported more or has something changed recently to create this belief that its okay to kill people because they have upset you or done something to make you angry.

10% of Thais legally own a gun. We clearly are not hearing 1% of the estimated 1,200 homicides committed annually in Thailand. The interwebs most recent crime figures seems to be 2017 and shows a significant fall in homicide. Maybe someone else’s can chime in with more recent figures?
