It was reported in a Q&A session for this item that Coviid insurance must be taken out with Thai insurer- not so in my experience.  My Australian insurer has me covered for unlimited Covid medical expenses and provided a covering letter attached to my certificate copies of which were submitted for my successful Thai pass application in a previous iteration of the Trst and Go scheme.  It may be useful for intending tourists to Thailand to be aware of this.
