I am  unenlightened  😕

Score: 2

I do have some good excuses. I genuinely thought Islam had a much greater % of followers, especially in the South.  And  2 of my errors were stupid. How could I not know they  religious holy day count considering they show on my phone calender...

I was surprised by that too, Vigo. The four Muslim-majority provinces in the south (Satun, Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat) only have a combined population of 1.6 million, hence the lower percentage nation wide.

5/5

95% of population thinks he's Buddhist... uhuh. You mean they visit the temple for superstitious practices all for self-gain, mostly money. If it is 95%, you would think vegetarianism would be more practiced than it actually is. Surprised me how little attention that one got in the land of Thai. They (even monks) try to cheat their way around the rule 'Thou shall not harm living beings' with the non-sense of 'as long as it was not killed for me specifically and I did not do it myself'... Demand causes supply. You eating meat causes more killing and terrible living conditions.  Then again, the core Buddhist message is missed by many. It's all about ceremonial stuff and fancy decorations (something the Buddha was strongly against). It seems that at least the bad-bad karma-blaming is not so much practiced in Thailand as opposed to India? You're poor, unsuccessful or have a miserable life because you did something wrong in a previous life and so deserve it and good luck paying the price; good luck. Ugh.
