Not sure I would blame the loss of investors and investment entirely on the current conflict.

As has been said by many contributors  on here before, people don’t invest and current investors withdraw from failing economies. Many other countries are now fully open and doing their best to recover their economies, despite rising energy costs etc.

However, with the current unnecessary restrictions on entry, getting the PCR requirement (if you really must hang on to them) completely the wrong way around. Data leaks from the Thailand pass and the loss of 25% GDP (IMO it’s a lot more than 25%). Is it really any wonder investors are pulling out.

Yes some will be linked to the conflict. Possibly Russian investors getting their hands on a currency that has some value.

Time to open up. Visitors are more likely to catch Covid in Thailand than bring it with them.
