I understand that this topic is very well understood by most expats here, A dear friend of ours lost 2 pet dogs to heat exhaustion from being locked in her car. I know I know, but we are in Thailand, The poor girl was devastated and feels like she killed them, but she simply didn't know. Thais love to take their dogs with them everywhere and its getting into hot season.

Sorry, but she did kill them!

Yeah I know, I tried to console her when she was balling her eyes out, but I couldn't find any words to comfort her. I still have empathy for her regardless of her stupidness, she absolutely loved these animals to the point of letting them sleep in her room, and hand feeding them special cooked and bought food.

I would have thought it was common sense not to leave anything that breathes in a car with no A/C on..🤔

My main point of the post is to ask farangs to remind or let our Thai friends know of the dangers of leaving pets in locked cars in summer. To us it's common sense, but we live in Thailand where common sense is a whole other discussion.😅

There is no discussion about it, in Thailand.

And you have to be very careful, with "let your Thai friends know", methinks. They love patronizing farangs!

Regardless of the nasty remarks, she is a very attractive childless 45 year old woman with a nice looking body, a tiny bit chubby for me, has a happy outgoing personality and has never worked in a beer bar as a hostess, she did work in BKK at central plaza as a perfume sales person in her younger years thou.🙂

She is currently going through a break up with her first husband who is Thai and 10 years younger than her and is dating a Korea girl that is 10 years younger than him in Korea after going there to work.🙂

She can speak reasonable English and she won't take shit from anyone. The dowry on her is about 1/10 of what she is worth.(just a joke, referring to a different thread)

I might ask her for permission to post a pic later if anyone is interested.
