Russian flights effected by repossession of aircraft

According to CHA aviation of the 980 commercial passenger aircraft in Russia 770 are leased, 515 of these are foreign leased aircraft ( 183 are with two Irish lease companies Aircat and SMPC ), Under the EU sanctions European lease companies have 30 days to cancel contracts and retrieve their aircraft. This will have severe consequences for future international travel as the numbers of aircraft that will have certification to enter other airspace jurisdictions will be very limited when sanctions are lifted as well as most Russian carriers will be in a very precarious financial position going forward. This could spell the end to Russian tourists to Thailand for a very long time

Not much better it appears... Airways Magazine reports (this week) that China is prohibiting Russian Boeing and Airbus aircraft owned by foreign leasing companies from flying through its territory. According to the Russian news outlet RBK (RBC Group), the ban affects equipment whose legal status has not been confirmed following Western sanctions.

I read that some of the leasing companies are writing off their investments in their planes grounded in Russia as they are no longer certified and the cost to recover and recertify them would exceed their current worth. They must be expensive number plates! I guess the Russians will probably cannibalise them for parts to keep their own planes running.
Here is a few and I am sure there are a lot more.
AirLease $802 million, Dubai Aerospace $538 million. Avalon Holdings $394 million
