How about Zirinovsky?

How about Russian National Unity?

The Russian National Unity are the very marginal neo-Nazis, they are not in the power structure.

Zhirinovsky is a political clown, the head of the Liberal Democratic (!) Party, who sells hatred for the West, there are many in the US Congress and the European Parliament who sell hatred for Russians, unfortunately for all of us.

of course have. and the stronger the economic crisis, the louder their voices sound. but there is no specific neo-Nazi theme in the information space of Russia, you will not see Nazi symbols on official flags, and marches calling for murders on a national basis, this is the lot of street marginals.

So they are street marginals in Russia but somehow mainstream in the Ukraine?

Agreed. When I was in Russia, he was regarded with derision whenever his name came up. Never met a supporter.

She probably knew the audience were right wing Trump supporters and was trying to talk to them on a level they will understand.

This and most of her recent gaffes have been in responses from Qs from media at syndicated televised news conferences (msm). Other channels just nick them. Harris  talks in slow, simplistic style, seemingly because it gives her more time to mentally plan out just the next short sentence. She is in water far too deep and an embarrassment - especially when she lets out that annoying cackle, as she did prior to trying to answer a UA refugee related question a few days ago - so inappropriate.

Her approval ratings are even lower than Biden's. Bad timing to have these two at the wheel.

Yes. The Ukraine is such a hotbed of rabid neo-Nazis' they actually voted for two Jewish guys to become the President and Prime Minister.

they were voted for because Zelensky promised peace in Donbas at any cost, but he deceived. you are mistaken if you think that Nazism is only about the Jews. The same Zhirinovsky in Russia is also a Jew, this does not prevent him from being aggressive towards other peoples

I don't make excuses. I point out that Putin had his reasons, because some here write that he is just a psycho, loves to kill children and therefore invaded.

Of course, Russia is behaving badly, but in Russia there are no annual processions under Nazi symbols and with calls to kill Ukrainians.

Learn to perceive history as a chain of causes and consequences.

Sorry but a Nazi parade doesn’t justify invading a country and killing thousands of innocent citizens. “Badly” doesn’t even begin to describe what Russia is doing. Putin had his reasons … sure does sound like an excuse.

But Putin, the top Nationalist, IS in Absolute Power, like a Czar of Old.

Putin clearly uses Nationalism to justify his “ operations” fooling the Russian people ( not difficult as they want to be fooled) that the Evil West is going to invade Mother Russia.

West does not hate Russian People or Russian Country only Russian Regime ; Putins’s Fascist / Oligarch/ FSB Thug Kleptocracy Regime.

Putin using Nationalism like Hitler. Cease your simpleton chatter about tiny neo Nazi groups  when Putin is clearly the biggest Fascist Nationalist or Nazi, around!!

Putin is the biggest, Biden is the smallest, and somewhere in between are middle-class fascists Zelensky, Scholz, Johnson and Macron. What a wonderful world.

exactly. the Azov battalion in the structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, monuments to Bandera, torchlight processions with chants "kill the Russian" - this is the mainstream.

sorry, but you don’t understand at all what it means for the Russians, who lost tens of millions of people in the last war against the Nazis, a Nazi parade, supported by the state, with calls to kill Russians. For many in Russia, this is enough to justify what is happening.

Talking about the FACTS of Putins Regime not “what Putin says”. So no, it’s not “ the same”.Hypocrisy is a human condition everywhere but not a form of govt.Western govts. are removed at the ballot box if they displease the voters.   Not an option with President For Life Putin who simply removes all real opposition in his one- party state.

Oh come on Karl, stop this nonsense, you know as well as anyone else that Stalin killed more Ukrainians than Hitler killed Jews.

Putin is doing exactly the same and we are not seeing one ounce of empathy coming from the Putin apollogists.

You are just going around in circles repeating the same old rhetoric, I am bored with all these excuses and if there was a prize for repetition you would win it by a landslide.

It is not “ enough” by any civilized norm where people have conditional legal freedom of expression. A concept rarely seen in Russia of course, Stalin killed “ tens of millions”’of his own Soviet People, yet nothing done .

Where was it supported by the state?

I think you will find Czar Putin is far smaller. Physically, militarily and economically. He also appears to have very small hands as well. If you catch my drift.

It is precisely that. He ignores posts showing how badly the war is going and his economy is tanking.

about the facts ...

Putin did nothing that "free Western democracies" would not have done.

hypocrisy is the only form of government in a modern world

Western governments are changing places without changing anything in essence.

In Russia, there is a 6-party system now, but it's not about the number.

That is what I said, you find them in every country, so don’t just focus on a few hundred Ukrainians.

it is a pity that after the next world war there will be a civilized norm and legal freedom of speech, but there will be no people left.

Why is "tens of millions" in quotes?

Because you know it's a lie?

US just allowed NATO allies to send fighter jets to Ukraine, sounds like this is escalating vs de-escalating.

Wonder what Russia will do in response.

This is not true. Poland made an offer to send their MIGs to the US Airbase in Ramstein (GER) in exchange for US fighter jets but the US declined. No NATO jet fighters to enter into the Ukranian air space!
