I don't make excuses. I point out that Putin had his reasons, because some here write that he is just a psycho, loves to kill children and therefore invaded.

Of course, Russia is behaving badly, but in Russia there are no annual processions under Nazi symbols and with calls to kill Ukrainians.

Learn to perceive history as a chain of causes and consequences.

Ukraine has a minority of less than 2% that are extreme right nationalists, what you call neo nazi’s. That regiment or whatever you call it, has a few hundred soldiers, in any case less than 2000.

Can you confirm that Russia has no extreme right nationalists and so called neo-nazi’s?

I know we have some in Western Europe. Their leaders from Fance (Le Pen), Italy and other countries were proud to be on the foto with Putin till just a fortnight ago

OH,I just wish we could go back to some peace deals like we had before this buffoon got in the Whitehouse,

Fair dinkum, we went from cheap fuel, a vaccine (for those who want it) and Abraham Accords to Afghanistan debarcle, Mandate protests, record inflation, highest oil price since memory, and Russia Russia Russia again.

But remember. the Vice President of the USA has been sent over. “So, Ukraine is a country in Europe. It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine. So, basically, that’s wrong, and it goes against everything that we stand for."

it's good that you counted.

but in Russia they see that not one of the 3 million inhabitants of Kyiv protests against calls to kill Russians. Perhaps because when in 2014 they began to protest in the Donbass on this issue, the Ukrainian army simply bombarded them with rockets and bombs.

The Azov battalion has the official coat of arms "Wolf Hook" (used by the Waffen SS in the Third Reich), is part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, that is, a state structure.

There is no such thing in Russia (yet), official neo-Nazism is condemned and you will not see torchlight processions there with mm to reduce Russians.

In fairness to question put by Alavan could you declare there is no equivalent in Russia even of a different "flavor" than neo Nazi ? Nameless or underground or otherwise?

Russia has produced a list of countries which it says have been nasty to it since its illegal invasion of the Ukraine.

On that list, listed as a country, is Taiwan.

Emperor Xi is going to be very cross with Czar Putin.

She probably knew the audience were right wing Trump supporters and was trying to talk to them on a level they will understand.

Does Abramovich still own Chelsea? And where is his boat right now? Sailing somewhere with its transponder switched off. Its OK. He can get that to Murmansk or somewhere else safe but there will be no more little cruises around the Mediterranean sea for some time. His houses around Europe are also up for grabs.

Its all going wrong isn't it Mr Marx.

Plenty of videos demonstrating a similar problem in Russia itself.

in Russia they were still marginalized. This is not a government position. this is still the difference with Ukraine.

And their hatred is directed at migrants from the southern regions, as well as in Europe and North America. Ukrainians are not their target.

By the way, a few years ago, Navalny (the current liberal) was the main speaker of the nationalists in Russia, but you will hardly find information about this in the English-language media, because this is not the mainstream.

But recently, Putin has been increasingly speaking the slogans of these outcasts, as well as many other leaders.

Neo Fascist coupled with Orthodox religious ..... yes..... a different flavor  but disruptive  in all directions. Perhaps  along the lines of the KKK ? The differentiation being that the KKK distracts  from the  evangelical mega industry that flourishes in the H . Simpson majority of the US.

The Azov Battalion was similarly directed towards a target of unresolved irritation. Two birds, one stone solution?  No.  It resulted in a gang war scenario where neither side actually wanted to win while the task was being supplied for continuance. And while at that level of combat who where made any significant objection ?

lol. Why?  Taiwan has strayed  from autonomous inclusion as has the Ukraine.  I can envisage Xi secretly  endorsing Putin's objective although perhaps critical of effective tactics in attempt.

The UK used to have an empire that covered half the world. Is it OK for the UK to go invade those countries?

When the Soviet Union collapsed many countries were given independence. Are you saying that they all belong to Russia?

Mongolia used to own huge parts of Russia. So really you guys should be handing the keys of Moscow over to them.

of course have. and the stronger the economic crisis, the louder their voices sound. but there is no specific neo-Nazi theme in the information space of Russia, you will not see Nazi symbols on official flags, and marches calling for murders on a national basis, this is the lot of street marginals.

Putin using Nationalism like Hitler. Cease your simpleton chatter about tiny neo Nazi groups  when Putin is clearly the biggest Fascist Nationalist or Nazi, around!!

Its all going wrong. Several thousand Russian soldiers dead and even more wounded. An economy in freefall. A currency not worth the paper its written on. Inflation at 30%. Czar Putin and his chums having their assets seized. Russian army regiments becoming combat ineffective due to loses and lack of supply. Moral is non existent.

The west supplying more and more anti tank and aircraft missiles which is ripping apart Russian units. Almost the entire world rooting for the Ukraine to win.
