Big storm in the UK....

"Storm Dudley has completely halted trains in parts of the country as trees are blown over onto railways and powerlines.

The storm has brought winds up to 40mph across the Midlands and northern parts of the country – leaving thousands of people without power last night.

Weather warnings have been put in place all over the nation and at least one man has even been killed after falling to his death amid high-speed winds.

Many trains in the west coast of Scotland have not been able to run today – as eight trees fell on the railway’s power lines in Beattock, north of Lockerbie.

At least three trees were directly blocking the railway tracks. Engineers went to fix the power cables before midday but realised the job was much bigger when they saw the fallen trees."
