Agreed. Are you also in similar forums in:

Brazil, South Africa, Venezuela, Egypt, UK, France, Germany etc?  The reason for asking is that this is a Thailand focused forum you see. So that’s why people are questioning what happened in Thailand. Not in other countries. Hope this helps?

Exactly. She’s already famous. That’s why she was there in the first place. You have to wonder at times how people process information and come to a conclusion. Baffling !!

What Members are forgetting is incidents like this impact tourism where Tourists are mugged in resorts. Governors will deny it took place to present it's a safe destination to travel. Same as people will leave bad reviews on trip advisor where instead of looking into these claims they will deny it to make them good.

I think, the story is hyped up a lot. If someone hit Cathy a couple times brutally, she wouldn’t be able to fly to Dubai a few hours later. 

And she is a C-list celebrity. Of course she needs publicity.

She never claims that it was made up by the media here to rewrite the story in another light. She said it was at the beach near her hotel and was brutally hit on the head. The german media outlets were full of it but the rewrite story in Thailand is a complete different , rewritten and a complete another story. Also these claims it was not reported and she had no time for it is a complete fake news story, same it is not mentioned about her head injuries and they wrote bruises at her arm instead. They made up a complete fake version and media should read first the original version in germany and what she really said in the interview!!!
