A Phuket cab driver caught a foreigner stealing 3,600 baht from his cab on camera last Sunday, January 30. The driver works for the inDriver app. He had stopped to get out of the car for a bathroom break when the foreign man snatched the cash into his pocket from the centre console between the two front seats. He should be publically humiliated.

Where did he get the extra 400 baht?

He steal that too?

Wait let me get this straight... so you're saying if the taxi drivers did something wrong they are bad, mafia, criminals etc. but if a foreigner did it maybe a setup?

He then gave the driver his 3,600 baht back, plus an additional 400 baht for the trouble caused, totaling 4,000 baht.

 

And that's it? Wow, do they really need stealing foreigners? And no name? Or has it to do with "dark skin" (Phuket News) , like it often has in the west?

Hmmm.  If only the media coverage was reciprocal.   But statistically, it cannot be.  That's why the effort of counterbalance is published in articles like this....

Is there a word for police collecting money from tourists or foreigners or Thais for minor supposed infractions? Oh might that also be stealing. 
this story has more holes than Swiss cheese.
