Sounds like a far-flung place to live. If you're a bachelor on a budget working in Bangkok, go for it.

There's nothing much going on in Nonthaburi at all. People on a budget should go for an old condo building in Bangkok which also come with no sidewalks, sewage and mosquitos. But at least you get location location location.

850 meters away from the train station? Good luck walking that distance under the scorching summer heat or heavy downpour with the flooded sidewalks

Lived in Nonthaburi for about 5 years 15 years or so ago. Loved it. Not a tourist in sight, cheap to live, and nice and genuine people.

Most people moved out there when they had kids or whatever and fancied more space and VFM when it came to housing.

Plum condos look lovely but are actually very cheap. They are for people on a tight budget, often in good locations like Plum Mix on Chaeng Wattana.

From what I see in that area and Rangsit, are all similar build quality

Not many really nice proper construction projects around

Not knocking Plum or any of the developments, just wouldn't expect luxury builds
