Mudshark Posted January 26, 2022 #149901 Share Posted January 26, 2022 (edited) Quote some of the jewels have never been recovered, including a prized blue diamond. Breathtaking understatement. The most valuable items were returned in an official ceremony by the Royal Thai Police. They were immediately identified as fake, making this the biggest "Thai Gem Scam" on record, that is saying something. The real gems that actually did get returned to the Saudis, totaled less than one twentieth of the total crime. Then you have theft, kidnapping, torture and murders. I wonder if they haven't returned something, on the hush hush. As the kidnappers of the Saudi businessman, and killers of the embassy personal, will never be prosecuted, I assume the Saudis want something significant.
