"The post was widely shared by Thais on Facebook, many wondering why. A fetish? Maybe. But some speculate that the man might be trying to get infected to claim money from his health insurance. Others say they hope it’s just a joke."

I very much doubt it is a joke.

After 2-3 years of people suggesting drinking bleach, imbibing horse medicine, assuming that there is a Bill Gates Mind Control-chip in the vaccines and all the other idiocy...

... this seems tame to me.

Thanks but you cant deny that Americans hold the record for infections by some distance whether I need to grow or not. Thats not a fantasy. Well done on not getting infected.

For the record: I did not make that Facebook post, but I fully understand the reasons why someone would try to get infected with OMICRON! 

There are multiple reasons for this.  

 

When you are a) not vaccinated yet and b) are not in the 'at risk' group (e.g. obese, underlying co-morbidities), it would imo be far better to get infected with the Omicron variant than taking one of the vaccine-shots.  The advantages are three-fold:

#1 - After recovery (from the mild cold-like symptoms that Omicron generates when you are generally healthy) you would have far-superior protection against future covid-infections than the covid-jabs provide;

#2 - By not taking a covid-jab you do not mess up your immune-system and will not suffer any vaccine adverse effects (be aware that the longer term vaccine adverse effects are not known yet and can appear 1-5-20 years after the shot);

#3 - By recovering from natural infection you will be immune to future covid infections, and are thus contributing to herd immunity (the ONLY way out of a pandemic).

Note: When you are already vaccinated, unfortunately the above does not apply anymore because the vaccine will have messed up your immune-system.  Therefore it's not sure yet whether also for the vaccinated it might still be preferable to get Omicron-infected rather than taking a covid-booster.  From the data it is now clear that Omicron has a preference for infecting the vaccinated (or it might be that the vaccinated are having harder reactions to it).  But it won't take long anymore before we will be able to determine also for vaccinated people whether becoming Omicron-infected is preferable over the booster, and that option is already on the table in Israel (obviously Pfizer and their cronies will fight tooth and nail to convince you that their booster-shots are the way to go, as they do not want the Vaccine Goose with the fake Golden Eggs to die).

 

An additional reason being that the current practice of recommending and providing booster-shots to all the vaccinated to protect them from getting infected with OMICRON, will only lead to the emergence of NEW variants.  And those new variants might (and will probably) not be as mild as the current OMICRON variant, posing a much greater risk for the total population, vaccinated or not recovered from earlier infection.  But when having recovered from the mild OMICRON infection you will have superior protection against later more nasty covid-variants (re-infection after natural recovery is extremely rare). 

On top of that: when taking the proven cocktail of nutritients and curative covid-remedies at the first symptoms of OMICRON infection will make recovering from the mild symptoms that OMICRON generates, a walk in the park...

Note that I posted the above already on 22 December, but the latest data on the spread and symptoms of Omicron are currently even more convincing than when I wrote it back then.

Can't comment for the other points due to my laziness to do research to refute them but I can definitely find one of the sources to dispute point #3:

Here we have yet another virtue signaling, sycophant. Drinking bleach... it's not just for swimming pools or your toilet bowl, ever been to a municipal drinking water supply? Yeah... they use forms of bleach to disinfect the water and...
