No, it was just to show how Reuters exaggerate reality. Shamelessly.

Here's a few fun facts:

No conflicts of interest here, certainly no conflicts from their point of view... move along folks, nothing to see here, return to your regularly scheduled PROGRAMMING... Lol.

The chairman and former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Reuters news agency – James C. Smith – is a top investor and board member for pharmaceuticals giant Pfizer. He was elected to the board in 2014, as well as joining Pfizer’s Corporate Governance and Science and Technology Committees.

AND

Former U.S. Federal Drug Administration (FDA) Chief Scott Gottlieb is an American physician and investor who served as the 23rd commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) from 2017 until April 2019. He is presently a senior fellow at the conservative think tank the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), a partner at the venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates (NEA), a member of the board of directors of drug maker Pfizer, Inc, a member of the board of directors of Illumina, Inc., a contributor to the cable financial news network CNBC, and a frequent guest on the CBS News program Face the Nation.

485 cold symptoms or actual sick people? A more useful number would be the number of symptomatic persons requiring hospital admission. The second useful number would be the amount of persons admitted to intensive care, and the third and final number, no pun intended, would be how many deaths. "Cases" and "infections" and "symptomatic" without the breakdown of the aforementioned classifications really only tells us that there is no real emergency here. Again, are we talking about a majority of those 485 people with sore throats and the sniffles only?

Do you expect from a dictatorship country like China any correct numbers or transparancy. Everybody who would gave a correct number in China would be arrested. In Wuhan the whistle blowers from covid are still in the jail. Dont expect from a gangster regime any transparancy it is the land of fakes and lies. Low level criminals are ruling this country.

Xi China is also locking the people without having covid just because in the city of millions a few km away had covid. They even seal their doors and leave them without food.

I wish I could say I'm surprised. Sadly I'm not.

That's how it's been approached the world over - from the start.

....might be surprised as to the number of intelligent and reasonable folks that continuously buy what they're selling.

Actually, I'm not either. The lack of deep thinkers in the world never fails to amaze me.
