Today, the CCSA reported 2,532 new Covid-19 infections, down 234 since yesterday, and 22 Coronavirus-related deaths, down 8 from yesterday. Since April 1, in the latest wave of the virus in Thailand, a total of 2,181,097 confirmed Covid-19 infections have been reported.     In the 24 hour period since the last count, the CCSA has reported 3,771 recoveries, up 34 from yesterday. Thailand appears to be doing ok with their present strategy, doesn't it? Testing is a waste of resources.

How many were tested 2533? You cannot compare cases from Country to country as some countries are testing far more than Thailand, daily.

Thailand daily testing may about 40.000 per day last week and about 13 % positive

Germany 220.000 daily and about 8 % positive

UK 1.3 million daily and about 3 % positive

so where may infected people not detected much more ?

Great to see these figures coming down. Just don't be too surprised when they start to rise exponentially as Omicron spreads.
