First we create a problems, then we try to overcome it. Typical army mentality

At least it's consistent:

  • First we announce a new or changed rule. Then, once everyone is sufficiently confused, we'll start by improvising a bit and eventually we'll actually think about details.
  • First we release an app/website (as soon as the last line has been coded). Once social media posts become embarrassing, we'll announce that the problems have already been fixed and were minor anyway. Finally, we'll start fixing the most talked about screwups.
  • First we keep urging the public not to panic. Once that mission is accomplished, we ourselves will panic.
