40 minutes to town and 40 minutes to the hospital is just too far as I do not drive.  

Am also not into spending retirement with those "seeking a privileged lifestyle". 

Like living in a reality show for the rich and self proclaimed famous living with "elegance and exclusivity"

Foreigners are not allowed to own freehold landed property in Thailand and owning via a Thai company is not legal, also if you own, illegally, via a Thai company a Thai person must own 51% of the shares in the company so you still don't actually own it.

If it is considered a condominium 51% of the total condos must be owned by Thai nationals and you would be liable for the CAM fee.

Not sure how this could ever be considered a good investment for a Foreigner.
