Probably wise and inevitable

We booked for Jan 20th but doubt that will happen now

We are currently in Boston and may scrap Xmas and head home in a couple of days

We just don't want the hassle of testing positive and getting stuck here

It is exploding here in US, with many breakthrough cases as well

Move your booking forward ad grab a Thai Pass asap?

The alternate may simply be a reversion to 10/14 days ASQ or Sandbox ... the latter would suit you I think.

Will Canada close the US border?

When omicron takes off in Thailand ( and it will ) just like it has here in Europe it’s gonna hit really hard , luckily the majority of us are now triple jabbed with decent stuff from Pfizer , the random sinnovac jabs plus the low uptake is gonna see big probs for Thais when it sweeps through

I agree with @KR - if you're coming, make it quick!

According to the source, Matichon, the change is a lot more sure than "may" and will be soon.

I have my Thai Pass and arrive in Thailand on December 23. I sure hope the government mulls this over slowly.

If you can move your flight forward even a day I'd do so!

Surely the Thai government should consider the amount of people who already have their Thailand Pass and have already paid out for pcr test in their country and also large amounts for SHA 1 day pcr packages in Thailand let alone flights and accommodation. These people should be considered and still allowed to travel because they've done everything that Thailand has required them to do

No we will just scrap it altogether

It was a "bonus" trip before a big scheduled trip in spring

So not the biggest deal

Bummed I won't see my stepson, but that's the world we are in now....

Honestly we are looking to scrap Xmas and get back to Canada in the next couple of days

I rather hope they'll consider the Thai people as their priority 😕.

Thank God I'm in the only place I want to be, with the only people I want to be with.

So many others aren't as fortunate, now more than ever.

😂😂😂😂 As hard as a pillow.

Unfortunately the restrictions will hit as hard as a brick in our face. 🙄

Governments are supposed to be boring.  These constant changes upend people's lives. Please try to be more predictable and not have a knee jerk reaction to everything. People need jobs and sanity.

Panic mode from Mr. Anutin again, there it is, back to square 1

Expand

Isn't it panic mode from Europe? And Anutin who doesn't look further and believes everything?

The doctor who discovered Omicron said they have no clue why Europe is reacting so weird as the virus is very very very mild.

Again, people rather chose fear, and use safety as an excuse. These people after 10 years or so, will look back to this moment and will feel ashamed of what they believed. (well, if the Covid bs has stopped in 10 years)
