I thought it was only the USA that had braniacs like these coming up with nonsensical programs with goofy catch phrases.

Pretty easy

1. Allow tourists to enter Thailand with the fewest regulations
2. Charge a measly 100 baht entry fee to cover any unpaid medical expenses
3. Crack down on two tier tourist/local pricing
4. Open up the night venues and tourist attractions.
5. Hold special events like music concerts, fireworks, displays, boating regattas etc to make events that tourists want to come and see

If you run a business you want to do things that making it the easiest, most convenient, and most attractive to gain customers.  Thailand is like a business.  It is selling the country as "its product"  Nothing more complicated than that and whether you have a program with 26 social influencers to mimic the alphabet or 88 social influencers to mimic the piano keys is nothing more than a bunch of bureaucrats who don't seem to use common sense but rather catch phrases.

Influence the "high end" tourist so desperately being sought 🤣 doubtful... just another TAT "throw everything against the wall and see what sticks" strategy. End all matter of quarantine and supplemental covid insurance for vaccinated, invest in rapid PCR testing done at the airport, and revert back to per covid visa rules and people will come

Well Alex Albon is an obvious choice for the letter 'A', but will be very interesting who they appoint for 'X' and 'Z'.

Any guesses?

Give us a clue for the 'X'

The typical "Our decisions could not possibly be wrong so let's start another ad campaign! The customers just do not understand us and our glorious decisions!"-response from Thai government officials.

And I would add another one - dont lock people up in a hotel for 10 or 14 days because they were near someone that tested positive on arrival.
