Here it's nearest equivalent is the Honda CRF250L or maybe the CRF250 Rally (if you can find one). You can find off roaders in many of the dealers but not so many 2nd hand as people like to hang on to them.  Good luck.

The Honda CRF250F/L was available for some time at the market, but it appears they now only do the 300cc models (new) which can be a relief the extra bit of power through.

The https://www.thaihonda.co.th/honda/motorcycle/onoff/crf300l (CRF300L) is pretty Similar to the XR190CT as I've never seen it in real life I compare it to https://motorcycles.honda.com.au/models/workrange/agriculturalbikes/xr190ct-ag-xr

Maybe a quad would suit better if you are actually using it on farm land in a working environment (assuming it not just for green lane riding)

No, I need a dual purpose bike.  The CRF300L is still in contention but is a bit too tall for me.

the 250/300 are pretty much same 'height'. So if you need something shorter perhaps the CT125 indeed?

Alternatively you can shorten the shocks making it a lower bike (this I've seen in Thailand quiet a bit) however this would mean you don't need to be heavy - This is not weight discrimination just that otherwise your shocks die.

Yes, I can lower the suspension of the CRF by 45mm using Koubalink and also lower the fork at the clamp by the same to maintain the geometry and that might do the trick. I will do a test ride on both CRF and the CT and make my decision.  Many thanks everyone for your input.  Cheers, Ed
