Thanks to The National News Bureau of Thailand for issuing this report of the MoFA choosing to remind us that Thailand has been following the situation in Myanmar. 'Following the situation', indeed … the massacre is now into its 5th month of carnage.

And by 'Thailand', exactly who is Thanee referring to? . . . himself and his Foreign Ministry pals or the entire Thai populace? Truth is, the typical Thai man-in-the-street will have been mindful, if not following General Hlaing's animal behaviour, just across the border, from day-one.

And, just to add insult to injury, he sees fit, with over 850 dead, to tell us that persons (un-named) are concerned about the violence. What words or action has the MoFA taken towards curbing this horrific violence, this unjustified killing of innocent Burmese people, by the hundred? Some concern!

Will Tranee be proud of himself for making this proclamation, I cannot help but wonder, when any decent-thinking man would be cowering in shame for having uttered such empty words?

An utterly shameful attempt at self-righteousness and nothing more.
