Have you visited the Erawan Museum? It's the giant three headed elephant museum that is about 4 stories high and can fit a school bus in the body.

A construction of a man's dream, a compilation of several religions all intertwined, Christianity,Islam,Buddhism. Interesting site off the beat path.

On opening the link they say it is closed, is this outdated and it is now open?

It's closed just for today but a nice man in front will show you another place just as good!

He'll take you there in his tuk tuk. You can even stop in a nice store on the way - free! No charge! - would you like to go to a gogo bar? Pretty girls! No? How about a floating market? Gem store? Suit?
