The Thai embassy in Berlin says Thailand has been removed from Germany’s list of Covid-19 high-risk countries, according to a Thai PBS World report. Provided they are fully vaccinated with an approved vaccine, travellers from Thailand can now enter Germany without having to quarantine. The accepted vaccines are Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna, and the Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccine. In addition to being fully vaccinated, arrivals from Thailand must produce a negative PCR test result, taken within 72 hours of travel, or a negative antigen test taken within 48 hours. It looks like part of the information in the Thaiger article "Germany removes Thailand from its list of high-risk countries" may be incorrect as indicated above by @HungryFarang. This has been reported to "The Thaiger".

Where it states, "In addition to being fully vaccinated, arrivals from Thailand must produce a negative PCR test result, taken within 72 hours of travel, or a negative antigen test taken within 48 hours. ", it appears to contradict the actual advice from the German authorities. https://www.bundesgesundheitsministerium.de/en/coronavirus/infos-reisende/faq-tests-einreisende.html,

Although The Thaiger's article source, Thai PBS World, does quote the source of their information as the Thai Embassy in Berlin's website. A check of this site does show that as of this morning, however accuracy is importance in current times. It appears Thailand's removal from the list dropped the need for a test within the 72 hour period.

It is recommended that members that the best source of up to date entry requirements is through the destination country's respective government/regulatory bodies or via its own Embassy and not third party sources, as circumstances can change quickly negating the advice being given.

Good Pick Up HungryFarang and thanks!

Very well said, Sir!

It was the lack of this kind of professionalism and courtesy by Mods that made me leave that other place which shall not be named.

There seems to be a 'new normal' (I hope to come up with another way of saying that because it's become a cliche...which I don't like). Among all the entry requirements of different countries, a pattern has emerged. I think it will become the standard until we see this pandemic off...and we will see this pandemic off...just as our forebears saw off the Spanish Flu after the Second World War.
