The ThaI legal system awards sentence reductions to people busted with drugs that inform on their suppliers. It’s called a 100/2 and reductions average 30% off a sentence. This reward for informing is for only drug cases and partly explains why a small bust in the news one day is followed by a bigger bust the next a day and on it goes until the last person busted either knows nothing or is unhelpful. And people like Isuzu Joe know how to get info from people not willing to play ball. Side note: it’d be interesting to see the amount of big drug arrests made by Isuzu Joe.  I suspect they’d mostly be small busts and the big guys just can’t be found ;-)
