Wonder how with PCR test and they still manage to slip through the cracks. UK, Hong Kong, Netherlands, Canada to name a few. Jus wonder🙂

There's two things that are comforting here. firstly, this variant has been identified quickly. Compare it to our first response to Covid and it's about as immediate as the world can get. Secondly, countries are immediately moving to close borders and ringfence the outbreak. Even with that effort, it has spread. Now it is a case of wait and see. Maybe it is a sign of a more transmissible, more deadly variant. Or maybe it is a sign of desperation with this virus....a final attempt to infect humanity....time will tell.

It seems to be reasonably easy when you know exactly what you're dealing with, i.e. a variant strain of an established disease.

Won't be too long before we find that there is really nothing of Omicron.

Yet, we'll continue on in our most usual bombastic manner.

Too easy.

Of course it wonr stop governments ruining peoples lives

Great news so far and finally a variant that is not deadly. I hope it will be mild and everyone can get natural immunity through Omnicron and we have herd immunity.
