News Forum - Joe Biden will run for re-election in 2024: White House

I’m actually very glad Biden is running again. Firstly, it absolutely guarantees the Democrats will lose; secondly it opens up a point of contrast between age and youth, and also divisiveness and unity. Fertile grounds for a return for Paul Ryan, I think.

We need a fiscal conservative and a unifier for what will be the roaring twenties Mk II.

A Biden 2024 campaign paves the way for Paul Ryan. Hoping so anyway!

Should Kamala Harris join him then its almost a guarantee.

The democrats should seriously start looking elsewhere. The age thing and other issues are just too much. They need a leaner, meaner and younger candidate

Or....someone that's not deeply connected with/by establishment.

Novelty.

Nah....

Trump was an unpleasant character, a loud mouth and a know it all- but he was a successful president who largely did what he said given the opposition he got. If not for covid and the 95% negativity of the media he would still be in the job, and doing it far better than the imbecile posing as a President they have now.

Brandon wouldn’t last one month if he was subjected to a soft coup, unelected career officials in the fed gov leaking classified unsourced misleading misinformation  and a woke activist propaganda machine pretending to be unbiased msm!

Comrade biden has as much popularity as J. Carter when he was POTUS

Democrat policy - showing an ID to vote is racist Jim Crow 2.0
***you have to have an ID to get a vaccine
***you have to have a vaccine to go inside a restaurant in LA & NYC
***you have to have an ID to buy beer, cigarettes, get a prescription filled, book a hotel, rent a car, fly on an airplane

Democrat Policy - climate change is an 'existential threat' and the world will end in 10-15 years if we do not act now, oceans will rise, NYC will be underwater....
***Obama has a $13 million mansion on the beach in Martha's Vineyard
***China & India are the 2 biggest polluters & they are not on board with this crap so until they do something shut the hell up. What is turning your AC to 78 in the summer & driving an electric car going to do while coal factory smoke clouds are billowing 24/7 in China. Maybe they just want to control us more??

Democrat Policy - the criminal justice system must be reformed & police departments must be de-funded
***crime & homelessness are surging in all major cities since the BLM riots
***a career criminal with 20+ felonies was just released on $1,000 bail by a lefty DA & killed 6 people, elderly & a 6 year old boy (check out their pictures - https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10235965/Waukesha-SUV-killer-Darrell-Brooks-appears-court-face-six-murder-charges.html) at a Christmas parade
***stores are shutting down in San Francisco because of theft due to the fact the city does not prosecute shop lifting under $950
***people are sitting in jail for 11 months for meandering around the Capital building while others who burnt down police stations, court houses, looted, mob beat & killed people are running around free

Democrat Policy - everyone above the age of 5 must be vaccinated, regardless of it you had COVID are not
***Trump fast tracked the vaccine development program (remember?) And before Biden got elected...Biden himself, Kamala Harris & numerous Democrats & liberal fools in the media said they wouldn't trust taking a vaccine developed under the Trump administration (remember??) Now they want to mandate them to everyone above age 5 for crying out loud. Did something inside the vaccine vile change after Biden got elected?

- BIAS - Can you imagine if one of Trump's kids had baggage like Hunter Biden?? Crack head, dick pic, weeks long drug fueled prostitute binges, corrupt money bag man, racial slurs via text to lawyers....if Don Jr did 5% of this the whole world would stop spinning.

- RUSSIA COLLUSION - This was the go to topic Trump haters always used when they had nothing else to trash Trump about (kinda like the British with the word soccer, a word originated in England by the way...or Americans can't speak proper English but at the same time they don't pronounce 'r' at the end of any words. Massage lady: 'Sawatdee Kaa pompui kee mao farang'...Bloke: 'bloddy'el mate, what kinda caa is a Sawtdee, is that a Volvo?'....anyway). Well it all quietly came out that the WHOLE story was a fraud paid for by the Clinton's. Did anyone apologize? Ex CIA & FBI agents on TV pushing it, numerous politicians. This went on for 3-4 years no stop, 2 phony impeachments, average Joe's just reading headlines occasionally were duped into thinking the president was some Russian puppet.

It's all insanity & hypocrisy.

It is gated community activism. None of the people who push these crazy policies would ever live around the people they want to release from prison or sell their house on the ocean and stopped using private planes to help climate change. Crazy.

Prove me wrong.

Wow Wacinne! You must of had these statements stored on a  WORD program file ,just waiting for the opportune time to release it! Bravo!

Anything is better than the last guy, although I have to admit, approaching 80 y/o, it's time for some new blood.  That goes for the last guy too.

At least the last guy was more fit. Joe is as if you just grabbed a random person from the street who had to speak more advanced language for the first time.

"Mobilize trunalimunumaprzure" - Joe Biden

Either that, or he's talking about kids stroking his hairy legs.

I’m an American who doesn’t believe in Fox News style responses. I have many black friends and my kids are mixed race. I voted for Obama and watched as a vocal group of haters chided and mocked him with very racist comments and memes. The Republicans refused to work with him on many issues. At least some sort of universal healthcare was instituted. Maybe not the best, but everything can be improved.
It’s not only a politics/culture thing in America, it absolutely is also a race and xenophobia thing. People pitted against each other on both, or all sides by instigators. That’s my oversimplified (for this post) view as I’ve lived it as an American.
I’m not sure what “people” you were referring to, but you seem to like labeling groups and putting people into slots. You’ll find people are more complex than you assume. Take a breath.

You're American? Even worse, you have no excuse to be so clueless.

Can you pass a lie detector test & say Obama had equal or worse abuse from the media, pop culture & the opposite party vs Trump?

Every Democrat regardless of race or gender has a baked in the cake 95-99% support & defense from . . .

-the media - including ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, The NY Times, LA Times, Washington Post, every major newspaper in every big city & a vast majority of local news stations

-Hollywood film producers, actors & the music industry

-TV commercials

-Universities & tenured professors

-unions

-large corporations

-social media

-FBI & CIA top brass

-the IRS

Republicans have Fox News, some talk radio guys and random people posting mean tweets and memes....people that have no real power...they are only used to fuel the media rage campaign that there is some boogey man hidden under every bed that will get you unless you vote Democrat. That's why you have these Europeans on here acting like the KKK is marching around every city in the country lynching people....but they do not know any better, you should.

The nerve it takes to even try to play the victim with a built in 95% support form all major facets of society is pretty mind numbing. Especially after the things that were said about Trump...not on social media but on network TV, by supposedly educated, mature, rational adults. "He's like...like literally Hitler." Who would have a bigger impact on society if they stopped working, college professors & the media or truckers, plumbers & cops?

You people are not the counter culture, you are the culture, you are the man, the machine. The overbearing nany state, over regulating control freaks tripled masked at Thanksgiving screaming at your uncle about why men wearing lipstick should be able to use the women's bathroom with a Che Guavara t-shirt on.

Kamala Harris is a bad politician. She is awkward, pandering and cold (like Hillary Clinton). She had 3% support from the Democrat Party for presidential primary, even lost her own state (California). She is only VP because...well you know why, she knows why, EVERYONE knows why.

I tell ya what. What if the country was divided in half and all of the Democrats moved to one side of the country & Republicans to the other side. What side do you think would have more poverty, homelessness, drug addiction, school buildings spray painted with the word "MOTHERF*CKER", purple haired hacky sack experts, abortions, rapes, armed robbery, murder, a top 5% hi-so ruling class living in gated neighborhoods . . .

Marinate on that.

OK, I'm outta here, a just smelled some kanom kruk outside!

I ‘m a Independent voter I voted for Obama !  Mostly because of his campaign promise that he would not allow lobbyists in the WH!  That was a lie!
I believe in Fox news to a extent! One doesn’t need the most popular cable news source to see the poisonous lefts  thoughts of a new world order, where life is beautiful all the time while watching Govt control spending gone socialist viral.Biden use to be a moderate dem! But now he has handlers, people like Obama imop

One more year to see the dems and rinos who supported Biden

I'm sure they already have, with the VP being the front runner - saying publicly that he won't run for a second term at this stage would raise a huge lack of confidence question mark they can't afford.

American mostly mean what they say. I don't think he will back paddle this one. Sorry I do not like this guy much and the last one was outrageous. NO more childish old men please.

So what does that say about Trump's endorsement of the "fine people" white supremacists at Charlottesville?

What it tells all of us is that you fell for the "fine people hoax", you may want to Google that. I am NO Trump fan but am able to see the truth.

“Excuse me, they didn’t put themselves down as neo-Nazis, and you had some very bad people in that group.  But you also had people that were very fine people on both sides.  You had people in that group – excuse me, excuse me, I saw the same pictures you did.  You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name.”

After another question at that press conference, Trump became even more explicit:

“I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and white nationalists because they should be condemned totally.”

As a last resort, you resort to personal insults like “clueless”. I never said I was a Democrat. I did however mention something about being more dimensionally complex though. However you may put me in whatever box you like. It matters not. You obviously don’t like those with minds and you have a nasty penchant for knee-jerk categorization with your main two categories being:

Those that agree with me and kiss my A$$ = GOOD,

and

Those that don’t agree with me and kiss my A$$ = BAD

That seems pretty simple right and not too complex for you?

They still call themselves the "resistance" pretty funny when they control the MSM, Big Tech, most major corporations and just about every facet of the gov't.

We aren't talking about Ireland <deleted content>, nobody cares about what is happening in Ireland except Irish people so that is why I do not comment on Ireland topics....you should do the same. You don't know what you're talking about & you're just being argumentative because you do not like America.

You read some liberal rag online occasionally, think you know everything like you grew up on Route 66 and jump at any chance you can get to chime in and bash America.

The post was about Biden, the Democrat Party and the hypocrisy of their political agenda. Everything I said was factually correct. If you do not like it fine, but nobody has came on here and debunked anything. They just write some half sentence about Trump or one of the generic statements you drones repeat over and over.

Everyone is John Oliver with an opinion on the goings ons in America. You people are just like the weather in your home country....damp, gray, insufferable to be around, constantly snarky & whining, nosy, opinionated, know-it-all, pirate smile having, drunk passed out in the gutter with some dumb green soccer jersey on jacked up showing a Conner McGregor tramp stamp.

I find it so amusing to see the mods comment "abusive comment removed". After seeing what was left in, I dread to think what was removed.

So, I happened to mention Ireland requiring ID for vaxxes, but there are plenty of others that do so, the purpose being to make sure that those entitled to vaccine certs have actually been vaxxed. But in similar vein, I understand you need ID to obtain a drivers licence. What are your views on that? And just like vax certs, the purpose of licensing drivers is to prove entitlement. Hmmm?

As for your ability to read my mind, I think wherever you learned that skill, you were scammed and should get your money back. I don't dislike America at all. However, I have no love for American stupidity.

Yes your post was factually correct, and I can't be sure that you were not blaming the Dems for all the things you railed. Regardless, most of those have been around for a long time, and if the Republicans are blaming the Dems for introducing these (I think ID's for flights was introduced by Dubya) and they are so terrible, don't you wonder why they never repeal any of this? Might I suggest that the reason why they don't, is because if these laws were not already in place, the GOP would have introduced them anyway. And that's not withstanding the fact that most countries have similar laws. But of course, we don't yet require an ID to buy groceries (hahaha).

And did I mention Trump in my post?

As for your feeble attempt at stereotyping the Irish (I was born in the UK BTW and spent the first 55 years of my life there), I am not a fan of McGregor, and it is sad that the only fun we can have is drunkenly lying in a gutter while you get to enjoy such hobbies as lynching, shooting unarmed black men, and spree killings. Yanks get to have all the fun! See how easy it is resort to stereotyping?

Another thought for you. We are forever being told that the US is the leader of the free world. I am a citizen of that free world. Am I not entitled to criticise my leader? But that really is a totally different point, because I wasn't criticising America. I was criticising the opening listing your various complaints and explaining that America is not the only place that makes such requirements. The bulk of the rest of the free world accepts these constraints because they realise they are reasonably necessary. Also, you may not be aware of it, but many of the people posting on this thread are not Americans. Have you told any others to keep their noses out of America's business? Or was that honour reserved exclusively for me because I exposed your lack of critical thinking?

In closing I would ask, why is it that a sizeable number of Americans cannot get involved in a debate about Politics and remain civilised? Why did you feel so compelled to hurl such gratuitous abuse at me when I said nothing abusive to you. I was going to ask if you behaved like this on other forums, but I think the answer to that one already. And of course, there is a school of thought that says the first person to resort to abuse has already lost the argument.

Yes. I am aware. The problem I have is that one side was totally inhabited by white supremacists and neo Nazis trying to recreate a scene from a Nuremberg Rally while chanting "Jews will not replace us". Difficult to conceive of the idea that there were any "fine people" in that side.

Man, that's the second time you've mentioned something about the moderators. Is that your thing? Why aren't the mods deleting this guys comments about me? What are you 12?

And this applies to all of the UK --> You people are just like the weather in your home country....damp, gray, insufferable to be around, constantly snarky & whining, nosy, overly-opinionated, know-it-all, pirate smile having, drunk passed out in the gutter with some dumb (insert color) soccer jersey on jacked up showing a (Ginger Baker??)  tramp stamp.

The post was about hypocrisy....I don't want to go back 50 years, the original article was about Biden.

Go start a thread about Irish/UK politics & COVID policies so we can all chime in and dissect everything OK?

Now go take some testosterone, go direct message the moderators to complain about me and then lay face down on the bed, kick your legs and scream in the pillow. BETA

I said all of this great dramatic stuff and you're talking about me saying clueless????

Here's what happened....

You said something d*mb
I commented on it
You responded with something more d*mb
I commented on it
Now instead of taking the L you keep going, talking about the word clueless and saying the word 'complex' after a d*mb statement...it's like the equivalent of calling a janitor a custodial technician or something

When your are teaching the 7 year olds in English class tomorrow will the word of the day be....complex?? Ha ha

Now go get your shine box. Bye Felicia

How are we even still talking about this??

There's people on TV as we speak saying MUCH worse things about another race and we're playing semantics with some Trump statement that was intentionally spliced up and spread like wild fire throughout the world.

Who falls for this trick? People who want to believe it is true, that's it.

So dishonest.

Like the little joke he made about 'hey Russia if you're listening, can you find Hillary Clinton's emails'....the media knew it was a joke but they acted like it was literal and spread that around too.

It's all so dishonest and goes back to my earlier post about the media....and the people who fall for it.....which are all over this website...from dark, gray, damp countries, ha ha.

The actual protest to stop the removal of the statue was planned well in advance, there were thousands of people there. The thing with the tiki torches was the night before by a totally different group, about 50 guys.

Trump's daughter is a converted Jew married to a Jew, he was the biggest supporter of Israel as any President in history, he's from NYC and is in the real estate business...if he is a Neo-Nazi supporter he's a really bad one.

Get a grip!
