The Taliban leadership in Afghanistan has released a set of orders targeting female actors and women in the media. According to a Reuters report, the Ministry of Vice and Virtue has confirmed a ban on TV shows that use female actors and a rule that female news presenters must wear Islamic dress. WTF? The Taliban says they'll respect women's rights? Surely they can't be serious?

Mentioned in an article were they openly declare that any female not dressed up like darth vedar will be banned from appearing on the box.

Yes shocking perhaps to us but then it should hardly be surprising that the Taliban is reverting to their old standards.  However just imagine if Thailand's mad administrators and puppet master adopted the same approach;  We really couldn't tell the Lady Boys from the true females could we ?
