The Thai PM has ordered the Ministry of Energy to accelerate measures to reduce the price of diesel. According to a Bangkok Post report, Prayut Chan-o-cha met with several of his deputies yesterday to discuss the ongoing crisis, which has led to truck drivers around the country coming out in protest. For those of us who live in a democracy, the thought that the PM can simply "Order" petrol prices to go down is laughable!! I guess the guy was a soldier and then a General, so he thinks that if he orders it, it will happen. Ok, Prayut, let's see the petrol price drop to twenty Baht per litre. Just "Order" it!! That's an order!!!!

So much for the push to be green and hardly in keeping with another article today about E V commercials .. Thailand hub of saying one thing and doing another ..

just wonder if this would help somewhat: all condos seem to have their corridors in every floors brightly lit up 24 hours day and night, which contributes to big electricity bill and energy waste, isn't it enough for reducing the light intensity by 50%, especially day time?
