how many did they fine so far? should we ask TAT?

My guess, by looking around, on Phuket sidewalks, in central and such:

None!

And it is a rising concern, no mask, under the nose or under the chin.

We are arriving in Phuket on the 6th December, just one question ?  Do you have to wear a mask while on the beach, or just keep a 2 meter distance ?

Imho, they gave up on "wear a mask at the beach" already last year.

No one is telling you (afaik), to do that at a beach.

Some, mostly locals , are wearing masks even at the beach.

But they arent there for sunbathing and swimming.

Thanks, that's a start. Do you know how long ago this was first posted at all?

If there's any more info about exercising and face masks, let me know.
I'm in Udon, but at least I might start to see a clearer picture about the rules.

I think that came up with the April wave.

You can't discipline noncompliant folks for something that should be societally instinctive -

Yet it's not.

Quite obvious, the world over.

The continued safety practice of logical mitigation protocol is probably still nominal.

Oh wait.  I think it showed up around that time the pm was fined for not wearing a mask in a conference.

I remember that. He was fined only 6,000 Baht, as 'a first offence'. Pity he wasn't fined for being offensive, he'd be broke by now.
Hope to find something more recent regarding exercising - don't these covid rules change every couple of weeks?
