So do the police sell the seized bikes and cars and do something positive with the funds? Or do we crush them in a public crushing event? Either way, 1 day blitzes are all well and good, but it needs to be a continuos effort by police.

Just take them away and put them in the crusher, publicly, that will deter others.

When it's claimed that the Thai can't pay their fine, but can own a bike, I said exactly that to a friend yesterday.

Impound the bike until they can pay the fine and show the helmet and insurance papers.

Only then will you change attitude and safety.

the moment I've bought a GoPro it resulted into me no longer being questioned. With a Camera everything becomes less interesting... however... if your driving without a helmet... be just fair and pay the fine. I mean if your wrong, your wrong.

Will look at getting a camera.. Had helmet mask so they call it a licence check now. Again no problem. and yes totally agree on take the fine if your in the wrong.. but just annoying it's selective law enforcement.. who has money gets stopped !

You been making movies again on only fans and now having to sell🤣🤣

Time for an upgrade. This one doesn't have a micro-SD slot and it's too heavy to hold for the close-ups 😂

They do.

Seized bikes also have to be returned to original / unmodified / roadworthy condition so it's seldom worth it.

Ditto locally - racing in the "superman" position, lying down, is the position of choice and  there are no police on bikes to overtake here.

Unless it's controlled on a regular basis and the direction to the police is there, it's never going to stop.
