The World Anti-Doping Agency has hit Thailand with a number of sanctions over its failure to comply with WADA conditions. The ruling means Thailand cannot host any international football tournaments and the Thai flag cannot be displayed at such events. It’s understood the ruling is a result of Thailand’s failure to follow WADA’s 2021 code. According to a Bangkok Post report, the Asian Football Confederation has written to the Football Association of Thailand and member clubs to advise them of the decision. It would have been nice to report on exactly what WADA conditions they failed. Oh well, they reap what they sow.

Comon you really ask that? It is very simple and like it is all over the world where they have football or sports events! Control regulatiins and system for anti doping. Like they have in any country with a football league.

Probably used Lepu brand testkits for the doping tests as well, deciding that they are 98-99% reliable when the rest of the world finds them useless 🙃

All countries in the world received the regulations for tournaments including Thailand. But if the Clowns thinks they they don't have to care about, then there will be no more tournaments or events in Thailand including moto gps in Buriram. They received it many times and they gave them many extra times including dead lines. They did nothing.

Essentially, the Thai National Doping Control Centre Lab wasn't up to standard two years ago so it was suspended from testing mandatory urine and blood samples and so Thailand needs to change the law to mandate them being sent abroad to another WADA lab instead and it hasn't done so, nor has it sent the samples.

The most noticeable effect of the ruling, which isn't clear in the article or the BP, is that until Thailand and Indonesia comply they can't fly their national flags at any international tournaments anywhere, including ASEAN.

Hopefully they don't stick their collective heads in the sand but rectify this situation quickly.

Thailands reputation in International Sport will get hammered and I'd expect Thai sports persons will get overly tested when playing in other countries.
