Do you understand the differences between english spelling and pronouncing and latin languages ir german? Do you understand how the Thais pronounce the letters? Why do you think they write Isaan and not Esan. I tried to explain you but this I guess only works when you understand Thai. You come with the english version what doesnt work in thai they not use it! In thai lao languange it is not a or o so you can write it morlam or morlom but I dont know if you understabd isaan or lao and why I used the o. Go on youtube you will see it sometimes as morlum, morlom or morlam. Because in this case it is not clearly how to spell in that letters to make it correct because it is between.

But I not understand why this is so important people who understand thai will know what I mean never mind I write it morlom or morlum same when I write Isaan or Esan. It doen't matter.

So you are the resident expert on Thai dialects. Why am I having trouble recognizing this? Our is this something your friends at the pub are telling you.

Asian countries with highest ratio household debt/GDP are Hong Kong (258%), China (182%), Japan (176%) and Thailand (160%). 2020 numbers.

Again this are not private houshold debts numbers! Learn first the difference between state household and private household!

So where did you see 'morlom' ? either you made it up or misspelt  it, there are enough transliterations without adding another one. People making mistakes on You Tube is hardly a reason to copy them.

Can you explain me why is it so important for you and I wrote you already you will see it if you check in youtube that there are many writings but anybody will understand and will understand when i use the o instead of u or a! It depends also if you are a english native. Then check in the lao how they say it or read it in lao or thailetters!

But again what is your purpose of this??!!!

Well I could hazard a guess why you can not understand it and most probably most others on here to, but perhaps you would claim you don't understand that either. And there was me thinking that Scientists could deduce things. <disparaging comment edited>

Ok last time it was my way to write it! Do you get that! Most would write in Morlam , morlaam or morlaom the english would write i guess morlum . Ok better would be I  write it morlaom or morlaam  because of the tone but anyway even that is not 100%! Because it is not a clear a or o! But if you know how they speak it and in the mind i am not a native english speaker i used that one same i use Isaan instead of esan.

But i am suspicious about you because you made a point of it!

Interesting post there @SoidogI once heard a definition of Fascists which has always stuck with me. "Someone who hates other people because they are different." Those who have a down on barflies and sex tourists may not be Fascists, but they certain lack the liberal quality of tolerance.

To be fair I think you're overthinking it - behind every guy that has a downer on Thailand, the fun parts, the bars, the bargirls etc etc will be a rather well off bargirl skipping to the hills with his cash ! 😄

Believe it or not there are 'high quality tourists' that do enjoy a drink but doesn't mean they are alcoholics or have a bad drinking culture or are trying to make 'alcoholism and drinking  Thailand's problem, they just like to have a few drinks in a bar on an evening.

From a high quality tourist who has a shirt, likes to have a drink but doesn't have a drink problem.

He thinks high quality dont want to enjoy holiday they like a prison and restrictions to enjoy and Thai hisos not like partying 😅🤣😂

It would be also interesting how they view the party animals from the Thonglor clubs. The daily guest from the ruling gov house where the Thais gave a new nickname for the gov house. Their hypocracy is unbelievable and also their way to fool the people as it is a foreigner thing. In this karaoke bars with all the girls you not often see a foreigners or just follow the news who is partying in the luxus clubs with all the bar girls. And next day talking about no clubs for tourists or even talk about barflies or bar girls is a kind of hypcracy that is really unbelievable. Ask him how would look at then then I would be interested after such a comment he gave you.

Soldiers are trained to fight wars, not run economies.  Thailand need a proper government.

That’s debatable too! Career Politicians have a sense of entitlement ,they too can’t be trusted! Your spot on with the soldiers running a Govt! They don’t play  fair! Those weapons get in the way Imop

I for one am tired of the same few that constantly promote the falang drinking culture as good for Thailand.  Some don't even live in Thailand presently and may have conflicting reason for doing so. Of course they complain about everything else so suggesting moving on to another subject is of little use. Perhaps moving on to somewhere they'd be appreciate would be good. Maybe taking a good look in the mirror would be of help.

Discussing things that are positive and could improve the lives of Thais would be my suggestion.

Very funny @LoongFred. I’ve not seen that angle before. Very funny but not very clever. You keep banging on about alcohol and barflies and then when you are called out by people, you then try to spin it that it was they who keep banging on about it. Just about every topic that has any tenuous link to entertainment, nightlife, bars, economy, tourism, Pattaya etc, you come out with your usual claptrap about barflies. Give it a rest please. It’s beyond boring now. For a “scientist” you sure seem to have a very limited view on the world.

Glad to give it a rest and think you should also. Your life as it was is gone so you best find another focus.  My feeling on the subject are not my scientific views, just on what is best for all Thais.  If it wasn't for booze and cheap girls, I doubt you'd think about coming here. Enjoy you life in the UK.

What are you talking about now? I’ve told you before. It’s clear you have been hurt by alcohol or a bar girl or both. You need to seek expert help to get over it or her/him and it’s nothing to be ashamed of. I’m not aware of any direct support for “Bargirlophobia” but I’m sure there must be help out there. Good luck to you.

I think most Thais, including the government would like to see the slow destruction of the sex tourist trade, along with the disappearance of all the sleazy types in attracts from all over the world.
