They’ve been banned in the EU, but the Thai government says the cheap antigen test kits from NovaGen can be used here because they’ve been approved by the Thai Food and Drug Administration. Sirikul Methivirangsan from the Government Pharmaceutical Organisation says the reason they’re banned in the EU is due to the bloc requiring some additional paperwork. so 'effective' that they don't need to count the positive results in the official totals?

With so many things tied with official sanctioning also maybe tied to brown envelopes, it’s hard to take them seriously on this. Don’t bite the hand that feeds 😋

Rather missing the point that while false positives are an inconvenience, indicating that you should self-quarantine or get a PCR test, false negatives are the danger, indicating that you can relax more than normal and infect all those around you. 😢
