Fantastic news. It’s as good as over. You can draw a straight line on the graph to show zero cases by the end of November. The country is saved and we can all look forward to Loy Kratong, full Moon parties and New Year parties. Praise be to Buddha and the wonderful government of Thailand.

The Thailand Pass can be scrapped by the middle of November and consulates can start issuing visas again. Hotels and beaches full once again.

What a dreadful 20 months it has been. But all over now folks. Go on, out you go. Go and give everyone a big hug and get on with your life. Don’t worry about being vaccinated or anything like that. There is nothing to fear. The country is saved 🎉🎉🙏👏🏻🍻

Apparently we're being allowed to fly lanterns at Loy Kratong as well. We have just been told not to do it near powerlines. Must have something to do with Covid because other years that's a great idea!

They did put out another warning today though. After weeks and weeks of high numbers of cases NOW we've got to be PROACTIVE to QUICKLY break the cycle.

I wonder why @Soidog? We must have the only small hidden area where the news doesn't apply 🙃

I think it’s the relative meaning of the word “Quickly”. There is getting out of the way of an oncoming car Quickly. And then there is the quickly applied to this issue, which is more akin to continental drift.
