Cannabis in Cosmetics and other products

Hi all,

you all are chatting about Hemp and I can see, have no clue :-) this is not about getting high, even in European countries Cannabidiol (CBD) has been legalized and products containing up to 1% (Switzerland) or 0.2% (rest of Europe) THC can be sold. It is all about the CBD effect on health and in case of cosmetics, the skin. CBD is also included in FDA approved medications and is undergoing many clinical trials currently. In general CBD products can be CBD oil or CBD gras, one is taken oraly the other vaped. To name just a few of the benefits:

Chronic Pain relieve - better sleep - boosting the immune system and as far as cosmetics are concerned, those cheap once sold in Thailand  are pretty useless since the CBD content is minimal. It is also used to reduce the side effects of chemo therapy in cancer patients.  Quality CBD is expensive and 50ml CBD Oil can cost as much as $140.00 with a CBD content of 40% and a THC content of 0.4 to 1%  - both together will have a stronger effect than just CBD on its own due to the Entourage Effect,

Indeed. I posted a link to Wikipedia on "hemp". The use of the term cannabis is misleading..

Maybe it makes for better clickbait or maybe it's just a translation thing?
