News Forum - WHO: Global pandemic exposed unpreparedness and inequality

Recommended Posts

A new report by the World Health Organisation Global Preparedness Monitoring Board says that the Covid-19 pandemic exposed the world’s lack of preparedness, accountability, and equality. The first year of Covid-19 showed that so many countries failed to be serious about preparedness and taking action on scientific data, while national Covid-19 responses ignored the interconnectedness of the world, revealing massive inequality in the second year of the pandemic. Now that 5 million people have died worldwide from Covid-19, the Co-Chair of the GPMB says that the world was divided instead of united by the global catastrophe with a vaccine developed […]

"Recognize our common humanity".  Hmm, from the outset, China made it all too clear by it's cover up, inaction regarding not stopping outbound travel and fingering false blame for the virus elsewhere, that it did not share any common humanity.

A knee-jerk reaction from nations elsewhere who obviously had the s***s with China for its extremely low inhumane act of not stopping the spread. China CCP being the usual spoilt brat, threw a tantrum like a child throwing its toys on the ground, deciding to punish anyone who dared asking to find out what the hell happened and went so wrong?

Nations around the globe have subsequently put on their worst behaviour, just like China with the worst examples of human behavior coming to the surface.   Citizens turning on each other, hatred towards governments, military build up with opportunistic take overs, the greedy corrupt and wealthy getting wealthier and the poor getting poorer.  Selfishness galore on top.  And an impotent, inept WHO who made a pathetic embarrassing attempt to investigate ground zero of COVID at Wuhan with an orchestrated, severely delayed, extremely restricted and controlled joke of an investigation.  They let politics with the CCP take precedence over a serious virus.  WHO is at fault as well.  A lecture from them lacks credibility and confidence.

The pandemic has also shown glaringly, within countries themselves, double standards. You can't be with your dying mother, but sportstars and influencers can roam the planet!!! George Orwell, "Everybody is equal....it's just some are more equal than others".

The only difference here is that the pigs at the Thai trough actually look like pigs.

We will see a shift in alliances around the world and trading partners too. China might find itself on the outer. Countries will reassess their dependence and seek to take back or start up their own manufacture, particularly of medical supplies.

Well as long as greed persists for companies to make maximum profits even if that involves child labour then China will still be an important manufacturing base for all American companies.

However Some very poor African states may benefit from Western companies exploitation should China lose its trade advantage due to rising production costs eventually, assuming that is, the manufacturing facilities and infrastructure are developed.
