With the country reopening and Bangkok lifting restrictions, city officials are pushing for businesses in the hospitality industry to apply for Safety and Health Administration (SHA) certificates. If they could afford to get them I'm sure they would.

Small business has been battered financially for over a year, where do they get the money to pay for the requirements to update to SHA standards or the fat brown envelope that is surely a prerequisite of the approval process.  

Maybe the Govt should be helping them instead of throwing away 100 million baht on a party for an extremely small percentage of Thai people and tourists.

Cops pull up to hotel, boss hands over brown envelope with "SHA" written on it, cops "weighs" it in his hand..yep feels about right...congrats on your approval---Hands over the "official" SHA sticker...done an done
