If the Chinese really wanted to clear their name regarding Covid origins then they should have come clean and really tried to assist any investigation of source.

All the Chinese have done is hinder every attempt to get to the truth.

China has lost any credibility they had to be a civilised country and people. Xi Jing Pings' legacy to China.

I genuinely do not wish to apportion blame to China or anyone else; that kind of thinking often causes more problems that it serves.

That said, given China's lack of candour and lack of assistance in tracing the causes of the virus, one must conclude that they are hiding something. And, whatever they are hiding wouldn't be beneficial to them. 

Sorry, but all fingers point to China, and given the chance to demonstrate otherwise, China chooses to stonewall.

I think it is the first time I have ever agreed with Trump; call it the' China Virus' unless they open the doors to an independent, international investigation.

How many times? WHO has been for a fortnight and done an in depth investigation. If they didnt find anything untoward you'd have to suspect a forthcoming fit-up.

Whether the CCP chooses to cooperate or not, it is telling that they are not permitting their citizens to leave China until the end of next year. (A cause for Thailand's Government to suddenly put India on the list). China will need to face the reality, that there are moves afoot in many countries that trade with China to move away from them and seek other markets (even if it costs them to do so). Many countries are seeking to wrest back their manufacturing capabilities too. Who knows, maybe China will become the next North Korea (a hermit kingdom).

When a Govt wants to hide info ,they classify it so they don’t have too divulge sources and methods !

WHO Is so far up Xi Jinping backside you will struggle to see their little feet wagging out of the hole. All the world know where this started there is no convincing evidence of it coming from anywhere else. 

If China were innocent they would open up for a true investigation and not just their Puppets WHO.

If the Chinese truly believed that Covid 19 originated in nature they would cooperate to remove any doubt.  Instead they obstruct which is a clear indication that they have something to hide. 

It may not be conclusive proof but out of all the cities in the world for the virus mysteriously and coincidentally just happen to be Wuhan the home of a virology lab studying coronavirus is just too difficult to ignore.  Additionally the fact that Shi Zengli "the bat lady" a virologist known for her study of coronavirus infections in bats just happened to be on staff at the Wuhan Lab.  

The possibility of that coincidence has such impossible mathematical odds to make it just not believe able that the virus did not originate in the lab.

You are correct.  Everyone points to America to be the investigator and does not raise the possibility that the USA does not want to divulge its involvement.   Alternatively, the USA does know definitively that China was responsible but China has threatened to divulge information about the USA that it doesn't want the world to know. 

Either way, governments around the world are not saints that can not tell a lie, conspire, or cover up.  I am a U.S. citizen and hold no illusions that the U.S.A. has not conducted numerous black op's around the world and has in the past and likely is still in the future engaged in activates that it does not want divulged to the world. 

The USA is no more sanctimonious than any other country though its techniques and cover up are more sophisticated.  Just like its bribery where instead of tea money envelopes that paintings from the president's son are sold at auction, or board positions given to family members
