Phuket Taxi drivers..... Motorbike taxis (only pick the young drivers...the old guys rip you off...sad but true), Tuk Tuks (go for one ride only....just to say you've done it). Car Taxis. I had a great driver who was reasonable in his rates. I have his business card and I only use him when I need a taxi. I learned very quickly just to hire a motorbike. You can go wherever and whenever you want and it's cheap. Just drive carefully, respect the 50 kilometer speed limit, wear a helmet and avoid young Thai guys on high powered motorbikes. Also avoid young male tourists on motorbikes. It's easy to spot the idiots...they are wearing bandages (having come off) and their girlfriend is driving.
