Very popular our way but we cook it at home.  Buy all the ingredients at a shop that specializes and cook at home on a 100 baht pot bbq.  Marinates they use can be a bit salty but otherwise enjoyable. can feed about 6 people for 300 baht. Beer or two washes it down just nicely.

I remember tasting something similar which originated in Si Sa Ket. A pot with coals in it and a cooking pot on  top, with water to boil. Fresh vegetables, meat, egg and sauce. WOW. The meat and vegetables were greatand the soup left after cooking, even better. I will have to try Moo Kata!!
