News Forum - Friday Covid Update: 8,968 new cases and 64 deaths

8,968 new Covid-19 cases and 64 coronavirus-related deaths were reported by the CCSA today. There are now 99,301 people in Thailand receiving medical treatment for Covid-19. In the latest and most severe wave of the virus, first recorded on April 1, the CCSA has reported 1,865,078 confirmed Covid-19 cases. Out of the new cases, 190 were found in correctional facilities. Tens of thousands of inmates at Thailand’s overcrowded prisons have tested positive for Covid-19 over the past several months. More information and provincial totals will be released this afternoon.

And with these numbers, what makes the Thai Government think anyone will want to come?? Oh, sorry...that's right...it's because TAT told them they would!!! No mention in the stats about vaccination numbers....percentage of the population first and second dose...by province. It's an incomplete picture.

That's because you're shouting into the void about vaccination numbers. No-one really cares.
