I disagree that the US can hide behind its population on this idea. Added to which you've provided six year statistics. I dont think its a case of more people will.......it's a mindset. Life's cheap.

Adjusted for population is another way of hiding in plain sight. It's like deaths per 1000. Doesn't hold water. I'm a straight 'how many' chap.
