Again they live in a bubble its not how many you can make its how many you can sell for sure lots of people think at buy a new car when the old one is just taken back by the bank

Less of an issue in the export market maybe?

Car sales are near zero right now. They think the economy will recover overnight. Alot of silly dreamers out there, who are completely detached from reality.

Manufacturing might do OK, but domestic car and truck sales will drop dramatically here, and remain sluggish for a few years to come. The economy is utterly decimated. Thanks Prayuth. Nice work.

If Apple, the biggest customer in the world cannot get sufficient semiconductors, I fail to see how the Thai government can influence the situation.

About the only thing the Thai government can influence, is asking the "Corruption commission" to not investigate one of it's own.

Forget personal transport unless it is EV .  Mandatory in less than 9 years anyway.

Personal cars and daily driving should be phased out for most.  Plenty of delivery services now. The future is Electric rail, simple EV scooter rentals, simple EV car rentals, vans or tour buses for longer trips is all that is needed.  The addiction to personal transport that pollutes the air needs to stop now.

Climate change isn't going away people.  Look to the future
