A former monk who was expelled from monkhood has returned to southern Thailand to celebrate his birthday. Phra Yantra Amaro Bhikku, who is now known as Winai La-Ongsuwan, became disgraced from monkhood after alleged sexual misconduct. I fully respect people's right to follow any religion they choose and to believe whatever spiritual things they want.

That said, why do religions continue to ban their leaders from having sex? It guarantees that Leadership of a Faith will act/live un-naturally.

It has been said that religion has caused more wars than any other reason throughout human history, and if true, this is likely the reason why.
