From Nov 1st, the mandatory general Health Insurance for Non O-A Visas applications from Thai Embassies increases to 3M BHT and must include the treatment of Covid.

It isn't yet clear if the 40K outpatient cover is still required.

For annual extension applications from a Non O-A Visa, the increase becomes effective from Sept 1st 2022, although it's understood some Immigration offices are already advising the increase will apply on renewal after Sept 1st 2021.

There has been no official announcement from the MFA to date.
