After reading some of the other threads and posts especially concerning "experimental" vaccines this article throws a light on modern vaccine development.

The initial break through has occured and the time line for an effective vaccine has been greatly reduced with caveats mentioned in the article.

Problems now are political with the Astrozeneca vaccine a case in point. The US FDA still hasn't approved it for use in the US. Almost certainly due to pressure from the big US pharmaceutical companies even though over 1.5 BILLION doses have given worldwide (a big enough trial I would have thought).

Yes indicates the level of bias and greed allowed to continue in the US, and they wonder why the rest of the world now despises them so much.
