It’s going to be a little bit easier for domestic travellers to enter Koh Samui… at least for those with the vaccine. Starting Friday, those who are fully vaccinated and arriving to the island off the Surat Thani coast domestically will not need to undergo a Covid-19 test. Koh Samui Governor announced the easing of the domestic entry requirements. So what about the hundreds of thousands of people that were reported to come or be here already? 

I hope this will make the current situation come closer to what they said in the news.

As long as they are fully vaccinated, there shouldn't be a detrimental effect. The tourism businesses in Koh Samui and elsewhere in Thailand need to be and be seen as sandbox destinations. Otherwise, international tourists won't come. The industry isn't going to recover with only local tourists. That case has already been tried and the jury is out...it doesn't work.

get ready for mass infection waves koh samui... so stupid, vaccine don't stop transmission at all so now you will let in all these "vaccinated" people that could just as easily be carrying the virus symptomless.
