Princess Chulabhorn, sister to His Majesty, King Maha Vajiralongkorn, has signed a decree to allow the Chulabhorn Royal Academy, which she sponsors, to import Covid-19 vaccines. It’s understood that the institution will import another Chinese vaccine, Sinopharm, which the Food and Drug Administration is expected to approve in the coming week. Could be a right royal conflict of interests here, with her brother's business, Siam Bioscience, reportedly already producing the AstraZeneca vaccine, under a so-called technology sharing deal with AZ.

Could get interesting, methinks, especially with PM Prayut hardly knowing which side of his head to scratch first, having become tangled with so many prospective vaccine sources.
